Rainforest logging
Logging is one of the most common and best-known types of rainforest destruction. Despite improved logging techniques and greater international awareness and concern for the rainforests, the rainforest logging continues at an amazing rate. |
We need to save our rainforests because they are what provides our breakfast, (coffee, sickness cures and more) but the main reason we need to save the rainforest is because it provides oxygen and sucks in carbon dioxide, a nasty gas that kills the ozone layer.So if we kill the trees, we aren't just cutting off most of our food supply, but we're also killing our oxygen supply! Even worse, if that doesn't kill us, the sun will if the ozone layer disintegrates! So basically, killing the trees is killing ourselves! |
